Loralie Grigas
Licensed Clinical Social Worker
As a person with 25 years of long-term recovery, I know firsthand the amazing transformation that can happen when a person is ready for change. My own journey of recovery provides me with a unique perspective on the therapeutic process and a genuine understanding of how change happens.

I graduated from the Master of Social Work clinical program at the University of North Carolina Wilmington in 2008. After graduation, I began working on an Assertive Community Treatment Team (ACTT), and I gained a great deal of experience working with those most in need in our community. I was part of beginning several mental health and substance abuse treatment programs in our area. This experience was instrumental to my growth as a clinician. In 2011, I began my own private practice and have been working there for 14 years.
In those years, I have helped many people reach their personal goals. I feel very grateful to be part of their journeys. It is always an amazing experience to watch the incredible growth and change people make in therapy. If you are considering therapy and have questions, please feel free to contact me. Change is possible. Happiness is within reach. It may take some hard work, but the payoff is priceless.
I am currently accepting new video therapy clients in North Carolina and Virginia. We will work together to create a personalized plan to make change happen in your own life.
